The delivery man came over the last few days bringing along with him the Manfrotto hoots that ShadowAndy and I ordered over the previous weekend.  The things we ordered are the  Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 4-Section Pro Carbon Fiber Tripod without Head and the Manfrotto 498RC2 Ball Head with Quick Release.  We have been eyeing on them for quite a while but the local prices are too high, putting us off.  Comparing the online prices at Amazon US and Amazon UK, it seems that we are still able to shed off at least SGD50 to SGD100 depending on the exchange rates.  So when the prices of the Manfrotto 190CXPRO4 Tripod came down to an all time low of £192 before deduction of the 16% VAT and shipping, we jumped in and hooted these.  Shipping only took 3 days as Amazon UK only allows priority shipping to international customers.
