I was reading in HWZ about the guys trying to build their own computer desks and how to customize them to meet their needs. One of the ideas was to build a monitor stand for the purpose of elevating the monitors for better ergonomics as well as to fully utilize the limited real estates on the desk.

Since all along I’ve been looking for a monitor stand long enough to support my two Dell U2311, I based on the same idea and gotten the parts from IKEA n DIY. The end results was much better than I’ve expected.

Zooming in on the Captiva legs. I was more kiasu n kiasi so I put 6 of them over the whole 120cm shelf.

This is how it looks like after I put everything back into their proper places on my desk.
